Steal Dawn

JUNE 7 – JULY 12
Amazing musicians, a spectacular array of car clubs, creative craft activities for the kids and free food and product samples from Village Walk merchants are all part of the six-week Summer Sundays at Village Walk.
Steal Dawn will kick off this annual event on Sunday, June 7. Their music style is diverse and their song list extensive — everything from Aerosmith to ZZ Top, Bruno Mars to Usher, Train to K.C. & the Sunshine Band, and Lenny Kravitz to Maroon 5.
On June 14, Navy Band Southwest Destroyers will return for their second appearance at Village Walk. This high energy ensemble’s repertoire includes rock, smooth pop and jazz, and they are dedicated to bringing the very best music of yesterday and today to the stage with a song list that includes tunes from Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson and Journey as well as an ’80s medley and more.
William “BJ” Robinson will perform on Sunday, June 21. This 24/7 music man’s performance will feature favorites from Broadway, movie musicals, jazz standards and the Rat Pack. There may be a friend or two who drop in as BJ Robinson sings, dances and plays piano for this Sunday evening show.
Get ready to rock with Mark’s Funhouse on June 28 as they serve up their unique blend of classic rock, rockabilly, R&B and a few extra surprises. Mark, Doug, Larry and John (former Rockolians) will bring their strings and sticks and things to play and sing just for you. Come up to the house and join the fun.
Graceland, featuring James King, will take the stage on July 5. This band pays reverential and respectful homage to the memory of the king of rock and roll. Their goal is to take the listener back in time, ushering them into the presence of the king, if only for a short time.
Joe Rathburn’s Island, a tropical rock band and popular tradition at Village Walk, will be the closing act with their performance on Sunday, July 12. Their unique blend of high energy Caribbean music and the laidback styles typified by Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley are sure to impress as they whisk you off to a place far away for the ultimate tropical vacation.
Village Walk offers a unique lifestyle ambiance that includes inviting outdoor spaces with winding walking paths, a grand clock tower, inviting gardens, a hand-carved stone fountain, a pond filled with koi and turtles and a delightful children’s sandbox area.
