Nightly December Snowfall Forecast for Chula Vista

Wed November 25, 2015 8:30pm

Village Walk at EastLake in Chula Vista forecasts a nightly December snowfall. The magical snow, accompanied by choreographed music and lights, falls twice nightly at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. from December 1 – 24 at Village Walk at EastLake. The eco-friendly snowflakes, which replicate real snow falling, are mostly water and vanish without leaving any residue on contact.
The free event, which transforms the beautiful shopping center’s courtyard, into a snowy wonderland, has become a favorite holiday experience for area families. Children love wearing their free “magic” glasses to experience the snow falling in rainbow colors. Community caroling groups entertain guests with favorite holiday music between the two nightly snowfalls.
Special daytime snowfalls are scheduled on Saturday, December 12 at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. during the free Family Celebration at Village Walk at EastLake. This event takes place from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and features photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus (parents are invited to bring their cameras and video equipment), free coloring/sticker books, train rides and holiday craft activity for children ages 12 and younger.
Bring mobile phone or video equipment to post a video of your experience in the magical snowfall on Village Walk at EastLake’s Facebook page for the opportunity to win prizes. Visit for information about the contest, the nightly snowfalls and other free holiday activities at the beautiful shopping center, located at the intersection of EastLake Parkway and Miller Drive in Chula Vista.
